The Clio Awards are the globe’s most recognized international advertising awards competition. Founded in 1959 to celebrate creative excellence in advertising, Clio inspires and pays tribute to one of the most interesting and influential art forms in modern culture.

The Clio reel comprises of the funniest, most witty and exciting television commercials from around the world. Better than the shows they interrupt, the Clio reel has been drawing audiences all over and is guaranteed to entertain and inspire.

My Summer of Love


Tuesday, November 8th, Pearl Movie Nights presents My Summer of Love.

The show starts at 7pm. $5 at the Door.

An intoxicating new film from the director of Last Resort.

A long, hot English summer creeps up on the emotions of two 16-year-old girls, who live in the same Yorkshire village but are really a world apart. Mona has had a tough time growing up, but has a wit and intelligence which combine to make her yearn for something beyond the daily grind. Tamsin is rich and spoilt and seems to offer an open door to a life of exotic fascination. This new friendship becomes all consuming and they plan to run away, but as the summer draws to a close it becomes clear that their passion will take a different and darker path.
