Tuesday, Feb. 26th: Double Bill Forsyth


On Tuesday, Fenruary 26th we're proud to bring you another double-"Bill" of films by Scottish director Bill Forsyth. "Gregory's Girl", the coming of age comedy story of Gregory follows the character as he and his friends discover girls at his new high school. The film won 'Best Screenplay' in that year's BAFTA Awards.

The follow-up film "Local Hero" also received critical acclaim and is considered among the top 100 80's movies of all time. It tells the story of "Mac" MacIntyre who goes to small town Scotland to make way for an oil refinery and meets up with a fantastic ensemble characters along the way. It stars Peter Riegert, Denis Lawson and Burt Lancaster.

The show starts at 7pm. See both movies for $7.50 or one movie for $5.00! There will be a brief intermission in between. Hope to see you there!

Tuesday, February, 12th: 2 Days in Paris

Just in time for Valentines Day, the Pearl Movie Series is back with a romantic comedy directed by none other than Julie Delpy, whom some of you may remember as the star of our last Valentines features "Before Sunrise" and "Before Sunset". "O" Magazine called it a "Must See" and E! Online called it "The Best movie of the year!". So do we!
