Back in a Couple of Months

Hi Everyone!

Thanks to all of you who've come out to support our little indie cinema project over this past season. As always the Pearl Theater is also putting on some great live shows in the forms of both music and performance. Because of this, we won't be showing any moves for the next little while but please check back here for updates on the next one and thanks again. We look forward to seeing you at the next one!

Tuesday, March 28th - The Darjeeling Ltd.

From acclaimed director Wes Andersen, "Three American brothers who have not spoken to each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other -- to become brothers again like they used to be. Their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. At this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins."

Show Starts at 7pm - $5 cover! Hope to see you there!

Tuesday, March 11th: Once

A young street performer sings his heart out to a string of oblivious passers by and only one young fellow musician stops to interact. What follows is a wonderfully fresh musical romance that follows two extraordinarily talented independent artists as their relationship blossoms through a shared passion.

Having accepted the Oscar for and performed their single "Falling Slowly" at the recent Academy Awards, these two performers turned actors brought a heartfelt sincerity to their acceptance for a film which received a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has people of all ages watching over and over again.

Whether you are a fan of music, of romance, or film, this one is certain to entertain. Come on out and enjoy the show at 7pm.

As always, only $5!
