Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man - Tuesday Feb 27th

Songwriter. Poet. Counter-culture Icon. Ladies Man.

This homage to the life and works of one of Canada's most prolific and important artists brings out an all-star musical cast to pay tribute. Including performances from U2, Rufus & Martha Wainwright, Nick Cave, Antony and more, this film was selected by the Toronto, Berlin and the Sundance Film Festival.

"Wonderful!" – Stephen Holden, The New York Times

“Has moments so gorgeous they brought me to tears.”
– Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly

“Some incredible concert footage; Antony’s cover of 'If It Be Your Will' may be the most transcendent five minutes of film you’ll see this year.”
– Time Out New York

“Performance-wise, Antony’s withering ‘If It Be Your Will’ simply kills…but as you might suspect, with U2 behind him in a tight cabaret, Cohen, his sad eyes dancing and his growl coyly teasing, dusts ‘em all with the graveyard smash ‘Tower of Song.’”
– Laura Sinagra, Village Voice

“Spellbinding! Cohen comes off as sly, funny, baffling and beatific. (Featuring) stellar interpretations of his music. Listening to Leonard Cohen’s music is a divine experience!”
– Dennis Dermody, Paper

“Plenty to enjoy…Nick Cave, an obvious Cohen heir with his baritone and his dark posturing, delivers two of the best performances in ‘Suzanne’ and ‘I’m Your Man.’”
– Christian Lorentzen, The New York Sun

“Masterpieces of poetry! A wizard of words.”
– Gabe Leibowitz, The Forward

Come on out - the show starts at 7pm. $5 admission.
